Activity log
The Activity page tells you what changed, and who changed it. That helps when you share a workspace, and it helps just as much when you work alone and want to know what happened to a task last Tuesday.
You'll find it at the bottom of the sidebar, next to Archive and Bin.
What you'll find in the log
Changes to tasks and categories:
- Created, renamed, moved
- Start date, due date
- Colour, icon, labels, assignee
- Notes edits
- Filed under another task as a subtask, and made its own task again
- Marked done and reopened, archived and unarchived, binned and restored
- Imports from ClickUp, and imports undone
Nydli groups the entries by day, with Today and Yesterday at the top. When you click Load more, you get the older ones.
When one change carries on into everything under it, like archiving a category, the log writes one entry on the category. And because the task editor saves as you go, a stretch of editing shows up as one entry.
Three things we leave out on purpose
- Time entries. Your timesheet is the record for time, and you can already edit every entry there.
- Reordering and favourites. That's your own arrangement of the workspace.
- Settings. Those are yours, and they change nothing anybody else sees.
What each role can see

You have three ways to narrow it down
The log groups by day, newest first, and then:
- Search matches the name of whatever was changed, and the person who changed it.
- Who picks one person. You only get it once more than one person has changed something.
- What picks a kind of change: edits, created and moved, or finished, archived and deleted.
If the same person does the same thing several times in a row, say moving seven tasks to another category, the log shows it once and offers you and 6 more like this. Nothing is hidden. When you click it, you get the individual entries, each with its own way back.
You can undo most things from the log
When you hover an entry, you'll usually see an Undo button. It puts back whatever that one entry changed, so if you undo a rename, you get the old name back.
Undoing never erases anything. The original change stays in the log, and the undo is added below it as an entry of its own, so the record stays complete.
Undo only shows where it still applies. If somebody has already taken a task out of the archive, you won't see it there, because the task is back already.
You can't undo a change to people from here. Putting somebody back into a workspace means a seat and an invitation, so it belongs on the Members page where you can see both.
The log keeps the last 90 days
We delete the older entries for good.
This never touches your tasks, categories or tracked time. Only the record of changes ages out.
